Sub Terra Studio is the open workshop of Subbotnik e.V. in Chemnitz Bernsdorf.
As the name suggests, it is located underground. However, things are only seemingly created here in secret, as the workshop is open to everyone.
We create a place with charm and an error-friendly atmosphere so that you can carry out your work with depth and substance!
During our opening hours, there is always a contact person on site who will show you around the workshop and equipment, give you a brief introduction and can also provide advice and assistance depending on your needs. No previous knowledge is required!
You are welcome to register in advance by e-mail to discuss a specific repair or idea or simply drop by during our opening hours.
#1 Metalworking
Drilling, grinding, bending, cutting and joining by means of:
Drill press, angle grinder, vices, metal band saw and welding equipment (electrode, MIG/MAG, autogenous) and much more!
#2 Woodworking
Drilling, sanding, sawing and assembling, oiling and varnishing by means of:
Cordless screwdriver, random orbital sander, foxtail, wood glue, linseed oil varnish and much more!
#3 Screen printing
We have the equipment for DIY screen printing on textiles.
Prior registration and arrangements absolutely necessary!
#4 Bike workshop
With our basic stock of tools, you can also work on your bike with us.
