The Subbotnik now has a cargo bike that can be lent out to initiatives and people from the district as required!

Thanks to the citizens' platform, we now have the opportunity to help you with your transportation in a sustainable way. Whether as an association, initiative or private individual - anyone can borrow and use the cargo bike. It is a Bullit cargo bike with Shimano electric drive so that you can also climb the many hills of Chemnitz.

It costs you nothing to use the bike, but we would be happy to receive a small donation for the maintenance of the bike! You will also be asked to leave a deposit.

From March 2023, you can request the cargo bike via the following e-mail address: werkstatt@subbotnik-chemnitz.de 

The rental takes place by prior arrangement on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This also only takes place after an assessment of the current situation on our part - in case of heavy snow or slippery conditions we reserve the right not to lend out the cargo bike.
