The SoKü (Solidarity Kitchen) plays a central role in European cities for the left-wing movement, offering an emancipatory space and striving for a non-hierarchical, non-discriminatory environment. But the immense effort involved is often overlooked. Our goal is an emancipatory space without hierarchies, in which everyone actively participates in living together. Unfortunately, we are exhausted and can only maintain the "minimum operation". We are burdened by criticism and the feeling of being a service provider. It's time for everyone to join in and shape our space so that SoKü can continue to exist.

Sub Terra Studio is the open workshop of Subbotnik e.V. in Chemnitz Bernsdorf.

As the name suggests, it is located underground. However, things are only seemingly created here in secret, as the workshop is open to everyone.
We create a place with charm and a bug-friendly atmosphere so that you can carry out your work with depth and substance!

During our opening hours, there is always a contact person on site who will show you around the workshop and equipment, give you a brief introduction and can also provide advice and assistance depending on your needs. No previous knowledge is required!

At our weekly Friday bar there are various forms of input, be it lectures, films or dance evenings, and you can look forward to events with the Chemnitz Nazifrei alliance, the Feminist Anti-Fascist Youth Action, Aufstehen gegen Rassismus, the Left Youth, the Green Youth, Students for Future and Fridays for Future, KRETA, Different People e.V. and the Queerbar.

On January 24, 2025, it's going to be hot and delicious at Subbotnik in Chemnitz!
The punk band @pizza_3euro from Leipzig will heat you up with their groovy sounds. Plus the finest queer beer punk from @ftze.band! The necessary refreshments will also be provided: vegan kebab for 5€! 🥙
